1. ep consulting - Business Analyst, Management Consultancy

Analysts are required to support our management consultancy projects for major FTSE organisations. These are both in areas of "Sustainability" and in Business Process Outsourcing. This role involves analysing best practice, by carrying out business research and engaging with senior managers in industry by telephone and face to face interviews. Preparation of presentations that compare client data, use numerical modelling and make recommendations about efficiency and effectiveness improvement opportunities make up a key part of the role, along with preparing interim and final reports and assisting in presenting them to clients. You will also support analysis and development of our on line Sustainability tools and advanced web based analysis systems.

The ideal candidate

You will be a graduate and ideally have initial career experience in similar analysis work. You will be enthusiastic, hard-working, intelligent, quick thinking and outgoing, have a good phone manner and Powerpoint and Excel skills. You will have an understanding of "how business works" and want to work in a flexible, smaller company environment, where initiative and being a self-starter are essential. You will want to work in a "distributed environment" where use of virtual office technology allows work from home, at project locations and our project offices.

You will have direct access to the business decision makers and will be expected to make decisions early on and make a very signification contribution to the successful running of the business. We will train you in management consultancy tools and techniques and web tools you will have early client exposure.

Location: Flexible, in the South West or Midlands. We operate a "Virtual Office" environment, where you can work from home and our project locations. Salary: initial  three month contract with potential to move to permanent role, equivalent to £24,000 to £28,000 p.a. full time.
